  • Coordination

Instructions

How to do it

Get into a low athletic stance (slight squat). Move sideways by taking a step with the lead leg and then sliding the trailing leg over, without crossing your feet.

Dosage

3 x 15–20 seconds

Important

Keep your pelvis low and stable throughout the entire movement, without bouncing up and down.

Common mistakes

  • Crossing the feet
  • Straightening the upper body
  • Clicking the feet together
  • Initiating movement from the upper body instead of the legs

When to stop?

Stop the exercise if you experience sharp pain, dizziness, numbness, unusual weakness or a clear worsening of your symptoms.
