Instructions

How to do it

Stand with your back against a wall, with the back of your head lightly touching it. Gently pull your chin straight back, so the back of your head glides up the wall slightly. Keep your gaze level.

Dosage

3 sets of 8–10 repetitions with a 5-second hold

Important

Do not force a strong double chin or tilt your head down. It should be a gentle, lengthening movement.

Common mistakes

  • Tilting the head down
  • Using too much force
  • Tensing the shoulders
  • Holding your breath

When to stop?

Stop the exercise if you experience sharp pain, dizziness, numbness, unusual weakness or a clear worsening of your symptoms.
